Finally, something to be proud of happened in the City of Hamilton. In a word, "Flawless", as far as I'm concerned. Kudos to staff, score one for the good guys and gals on the front lines, Police, Fire, Ambulance, HSR and fellow neighbours pitching in.
Many residents had grateful compliments for Hamilton Police Services officers Holmes and Lantz as they dealt with fire officials, gas repair crews and the HSR officials. One of the evacuated residents, John Collins, was very impressed and appreciative of the care and compassion shown to him and his family by not only the police, but firefighters and HSR employees also.
