School board eyes levy on developers (Feb. 11)
Enrolment is shrinking, yet the teachers’ compliment is increasing, and the administration is building a new Ivory Tower on the Mountain. Developers are always easier to extract money from, instead of the board rightsizing to get themselves ahead of the game. All those schools closing, where do all those teachers go? Do they become education consultants for $400 a day while collecting full, indexed pensions?
