Police concerned about impaired spike, daylight charges growing – Don’t drink and drive

One would think the average responsible Hamiltonian would get the drift about drinking and driving. With the warmer weather here, this will get worse, over 30,000 Hamiltonians are out of work, many of them hitting the booze to drown their troubles away, that’s sad.

Hamilton police say they are concerned with a recent spike in drinking and driving earlier in the day and on weekdays in the city.

Last night police laid three impaired driving charges, said Constable Claus Wagner, Hamilton police traffic safety co-ordinator.
